Terms of Service
Effective date: 9 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the websites, applications, and services operated by 27local (the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a report, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business, and “you” includes that business.
2. The Service
27local provides tools that help local businesses understand and improve online visibility, including website generation and editing, local and search insights, AI-visibility checks, review workflows, content tools, and related analytics. Features may change over time. Some capabilities depend on third-party platforms (for example Google, review networks, hosting, payments, or AI providers) and may be unavailable if those platforms change or revoke access.
3. Accounts and workspace responsibility
- You are responsible for account credentials and for activity under your workspace.
- You must provide accurate business information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You are responsible for the content, websites, listings, replies, and campaigns you publish or instruct the Service to publish.
- You must not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other customers, scrape in a way that harms the Service, or use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
4. Plans, trials, and payment
Paid plans, free audits, trials, and usage limits are described at the time of purchase or in your workspace. Fees are charged through our payment processor. Unless we say otherwise, subscriptions renew until cancelled, taxes may apply, and fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us. We may suspend or limit access for non-payment or material breach.
5. Customer content and license
You retain ownership of content you submit (business details, branding, media, copy, and similar materials). You grant 27local a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, and create derivatives of that content solely to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service and to provide features you enable (including publishing to connected properties). You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license and that your content does not infringe others’ rights.
6. AI-assisted and automated features
The Service may use machine learning and automation to generate drafts, suggestions, audits, replies, websites, and recommendations. Outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation. You must review outputs before relying on them or publishing them. Automated actions you enable (such as scheduled replies) remain your responsibility.
7. Third-party services
Integrations with third-party services are optional and subject to those providers’ terms and policies. 27local is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, data handling, ranking systems, or listing decisions. Disconnecting an integration may limit related features.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, trademarks, documentation, and non-customer content, is owned by 27local or its licensors. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or resell the Service except as allowed by law or a separate written agreement (for example an agency plan).
9. Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use that information only to perform under these Terms and will protect it with reasonable care. This does not apply to information that is public, independently developed, or rightfully received from others without duty of confidentiality.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 27LOCAL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT AUDITS, RANKINGS, SCORES, RECOMMENDATIONS, OR GENERATED CONTENT WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR BUSINESS RESULT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 27LOCAL AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 27LOCAL’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO 27LOCAL FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100) IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD A PAID SUBSCRIPTION DURING THAT PERIOD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those cases, the limits apply to the fullest extent permitted. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify 27local against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your websites or marketing claims, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel according to your plan settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, payment obligations owed, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and may also be communicated in-product or by email when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of 27local, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction over that operator will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information. If you are a consumer with mandatory local protections, those protections still apply.

Privacy Policy
Effective date: 9 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how 27local collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit our marketing sites, create an account, or use the Service.
1. Who we are
27local is the controller for personal data processed in connection with our websites and customer accounts, unless we process data solely on your instructions as a processor (for example certain customer-uploaded end-user data in your workspace). Contact: privacy@27local.co
2. Data we collect
- Account and contact data: name, email, password credentials, workspace role, billing details processed by our payment provider.
- Business profile data: business name, address, phone, website, categories, service areas, media, and similar information you provide.
- Connected service data: tokens and metadata from integrations you authorize (for example Google Business Profile, analytics, or publishing tools), and data retrieved to power connected features.
- Usage and device data: log files, approximate location derived from IP, browser/device type, pages viewed, feature usage, and diagnostic events.
- Support and communications: messages you send us and related records.
- Cookies and similar technologies used for authentication, preferences, analytics, and performance.
3. How we use data
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service
- Generate reports, recommendations, drafts, and other requested outputs
- Authenticate users and manage workspaces, billing, and plan entitlements
- Communicate about the Service, security notices, and (where permitted) product updates
- Monitor abuse, troubleshoot issues, and comply with law
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified trends to improve product quality
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK where applicable)
Depending on the activity, we rely on: performance of a contract; legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Service, in a manner that does not override your rights); consent where required (for example certain cookies or marketing); and legal obligation.
5. Sharing
We share personal data with:
- Service providers that host infrastructure, send email, process payments, provide analytics, customer support tooling, AI model inference, or similar subprocessors, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection terms
- Third-party platforms you choose to connect, to the extent needed for the integration
- Professional advisors, or authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
- A buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate protections
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined under U.S. state privacy laws, except where a disclosure is required for a feature you enable and we provide any required opt-out mechanism.
6. International transfers
We may process data in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.
7. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Workspace data is generally retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups and legal holds, unless you request deletion sooner and no exception applies.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for configuring integrations carefully.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, email privacy@27local.co. We may need to verify your request. If we process data as your processor, we will direct you to the relevant workspace admin where appropriate.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Cookies
We use necessary cookies to operate the Service and may use analytics or preference cookies. Where required by law, non-essential cookies are used only with consent. You can control cookies through your browser settings and any consent tools we present.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, when changes are material, provide additional notice as appropriate.
